Our action packed summer camps will challenge your abilities and introduce you to new skills. The multi activity summer camps are suitable for youths from age 8 to 16 years, male and female.  During the course of the week, each participant gets to experience most of the activities we have on offer. Every participant’s skill level improves as they will get to try some activities several times and they will advance each time in confidence and ability.  After a week at a Ballyhass summer camp every participant will mature and develop in a memorable and enjoyable way and have the opportunity to reinforce existing friendships and forge new ones that may last a lifetime.

Summer Camp A: 

All Adventure   Euro 195

 

5 days - Monday to Friday - 09.30 - 16.00- Multi activity- aged 8 to 16 -

July 9, 16, 23, 30,   Aug 6, 13,    2012

Junior and Senior groups, Euro 195.00

Transport option available  from Cork, Ballincollig, Blarney, Fermoy, Mitchelstown and all points on those routes.  Not every route runs every week.

The daily programme of activities is set for the week to ensure maximum participation in all events. Each day four activities are undertaken - usually a mixture of water and land based .  Activities include:

Abseiling, Aeroball, Archery, GAA field games, Gladiator,  Indoor climbing wall, Jacobs ladder, Kayaking, Leap of Faith,  Life saving demonstrations, Low ropes, Raft building, Rock climbing, Soccer games, Tag rugby, Team Building games, Trout Fishing,  Team sports games.

Summer Camp B

Two day option  - Euro 75.00

 

Two days either Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday between July 7th and August 16th  - 09.30 - 16.00 - aged 8 - 16,

Junior and Senior groups, Euro 75.00

Transport options available.

Summer Camp C:                                     

One day option  Euro 45

 

One day camp available Monday to Friday

Every weekday from July 4th to August 11th;

09.30 - 16.00  -aged 8 to 16 -  Junior and Senior groups- transport option available -

 

Participants will follow the daily programme for either Camp A,or B  for the day they are attending.

What to Bring

Outdoor active clothing, a change (long sleeve top, long trousers and closed shoes), towel and packed lunch. Swimming togs.  Perhaps a pair of crocs or old runners that may get wet - not an absolute requirement. 

Note:  soft drinks, confectionery, sandwiches are available at Ballyhass Lakes

Avoid bringing valuables.

Wetsuits, life jackets and all safety equipment are supplied.

Note:  The ability to swim is an advantage - but is not essential or a requirement.  No participant is obliged to take part in any activity they are uncomfortable with.   However they will always be challenged in a safe and controlled manner under very close supervision.

Course Details and Reservation

A deposit of €50.00 will secure a place.

Payments can be made in cash, cheque or by Visa, Mastercard or Laser.

Advance booking is essential and the booking form must be completed in full paying particular attention to the consent section and declaration of any medical conditions your child may have.

Transport:  - Provisional routes - routes and dates may alter in line with demand.

An optional mini bus collection and return will operate on routes that will vary from week to week.  There will be an additional charge of Euro 30 per place per week or Euro 8 per day for Transport.

Accommodation:

At  Ballyhass Lakes we have four star holiday homes to rent.  Three and four bed roomed houses are overlooking the lakes.  Why not get your relatives and friends to rent a house on site.  A three bed roomed house is only Euro 599 per week in July or August.

Your first child goes free on the Summer camp when you reserve a house for a week during July or August.
