Summer Camps

Reservations

Try our action packed Activity weeks / Summer Camps which will challenge your abilities and introduce you to new skills. The multi activity weeks are suitable for youths from age 9 to 16 years, male and female.  During the course of the week, each participant gets to experience most of  the activities we have on offer. Their skill level improves as they will get to try some activities several times, and they will advance each time in confidence and ability.  After a week at a Ballyhass Summer camp every participant will mature and develop in a memorable and enjoyable way. 

Junior Camp:  for boys and girls from 9 to13.

Senior Camp:  for boys and girls from 13.

The activity week day starts at 9:30am and finishes at 4:00pm Monday to Friday.  The daily programme of activities is set for the week to ensure maximum participation in all events.  Daily visits can be accommodated depending on availability, when participants will follow the programme for that day. Usually four activities will take place daily.

Course Details and Reservation

Dates from  Monday July 5th 2010 and every  week  - Monday to Friday  -
for July and August with the last week commencing on August 16th.

A week of multi activities costs €195 per week per person.  The daily rate €45.00.

Payments can be made  in cash, cheque or by Visa, Mastercard or Laser.

Advance booking is essential and the booking form must be completed in full paying particular attention to the consent section and declaration of any medical conditions your child may have.

What to Bring
Outdoor active clothing a change ( long sleeve top, long trousers and closed shoes), towel and packed lunch. 

Note:  soft drinks, confectionary, sandwiches  are available at Ballyhass Lakes

Avoid bringing valuables.
Wetsuits, life jackets and harnesses are all supplied.

Note:  The ability to swim is an advantage - but is not essential or a requirement.  No participant is obliged to take part in any activity they are uncomfortable with.   However they will always be challenged in a safe and controlled manner under very close supervision. 

Transport:

An optional mini bus collection and return will operate on routes that will vary from week to week.  There will be additional charge of Euro 30 per place per week for Transport. 

Route 1:     Fermoy, Ballyhooley, Castletownroche, Killavullen, Mallow

Route 2:     Bishopstown, Ballincollig, Blarney,.

Route 3:     Cork City / Douglas / Blackpool

Not every route will be available for every week, details will be confirmed closer to the Summer.

Our Buses are a maximum of 19 passengers to ensure the safety of all.

Accommodation:

At  Ballyhass Lakes we have four star holiday homes to rent.  Three and four bed roomed houses are overlooking the lakes.  Why not get your relatives and friends to rent a house on site.  

Your first child goes free on the Summer camp when you reserve a house for a week during July or August.
